Tiffany Lamp Tulips – Best Tiffany Style Tulip Lamps Review
One of the most popular of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s classic designs Tiffany Style Tulip Lamps will add a tough of elegance to any home.
Louis Comfort Tiffany produced Tiffany Lamp tulip shades almost from the start. With his interest in nature it is small wonder that he was interested in the hugely popular flower that epitomises spring. His nod to the Tulip was evidenced when they featured in his famous Four Seasons window at the Paris World Fair of 1900.
The Morse Museum in Orlando display a Tiffany reading lamp in Tulip dating to between 1899-1905. Louis Comfort Tiffany was influenced by Ancient and Oriental forms and this lamp, an oil lamp conversion, sits on a bronze base influenced by Greek culture.
The Morse Museum is also the home to the famous Four Season Windows, where the Windows have been restored into The Living Room Gallery, part of a series of galleries created to showcase the surviving components of the main rooms of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s beloved Long Island home, Laurelton Hall.

The Tulip shade of the Amora Tiffany Style Floor Lamp sits proudly atop an elegant brass style stand.
The shade featuring 352 glass pieces and 77 pearls delightfully depicts a band of tulips along the rim of the shade. The rim has been deepened with thick copper foil as if to create the impression of the soil in which the tulips are planted.
When lit the deep red tulips sit proudly upright upon their bright green stems. The background color against which the tulip sits is a rich orange/browns, again perhaps symbolizing soil. I find that this background color choice does not contrast the bloom of the glass petals as well as a slightly different color. Tiffany Lamps are all about subtly however.
There is a nice variation in colour on the glass pieces on the lower half of the shade.
Contrast is introduced by the upper banding of large light yellow glass panels, which help to create the illusion of early spring sunshine glowing above the planted tulips.
BMD an Amazon purchaser has this to say of this Amora Lamp “Beautiful and well made lamp. I wanted a Tiffany look lamp for my family room to give the room color that pops! And that it does beautifully, off or on.”
Honest Abe, an Amazon purchaser, states “The design is simple, but it is has great beauty, even over some of the more complicated victorian lamp designs. It was easy to put together. The packing was designed to prevent breakage. I would recommend this product.”
While many Amazon purchasers are happy with the quality of this lamp, a few have noted issues with the bulb fittings and quality of the copper foil work. These lamps have been replaced without any hassle by the supplier.

Amora Lighting AM1094TL12 Tiffany Style Stained Glass Table Lamp Tulip Flower Design
This Amora Tulip Table Lamp popular on Amazon, is one of the smaller Tiffany Style Table lamps on offer. So it is ideal for smaller environments or to add a delicate touch of class to any setting.
The 12 inch shade is rimmed with cherry red tulips set against light brown earth like glass pieces. This is reminiscent of one of Louis Comfort Tiffanies earlier Tulip lamps with the tulip flowers hanging down from green stems. Later Tiffany Tulip lamps tended to feature the Tulips in an upright position.
The middle top banding is golden yellows to symbolise sunlight, while for some reason, perhaps simply to create a further color contrast, the earthy brown banding is repeated thinly at the top of the shade.
The shade features 180 glass pieces and 49 cabochons and is constructed using the traditional copper foil method made famous by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
The shade sits sturdily on a relatively unadorned dark bronze effect stand.

Hanging from a majestic vintage bronze style 62 inch high stand the pretty tulip shade is sure to catch the eye in any setting.
The shade itself is circled by enormous cherry red tulips sat proudly atop glass piece resembling a stem with bright green leave sprouting from the stems side. At the rim of the shade the background color is earthy, while atop the tulips are large yellow glass pieces providing a bright morning glow when the lamp is lit.
The shade features an impressive 291 glass pieces and 21 beads. There is good variation in the color of many of the glass pieces.
The shade is adjustable at the point at the point where it attaches the stand, which should help you find a good reading position. The shade does not adjust for height.

The Tiffany Style Tulip Hanging Ceiling lamp from Amora is bound to make an impressive statement in the heart of any room.
The shade is rimmed by four large upright tulips featuring three petals and wide sprouting leaves. The colors are pastel, so not as bold as other tulip lamps. The pink reds petals and green leaves nestle against an orange backdrop. The top half of the shade is banded in sun like yellows. Rather than thick copper foil which is used as a feature on other of Amora’s Tulip shades they have chosen to rim the shade with a band of earthy colored glass pieces.
The shade is crafted with 128 pieces of hand cut glass and 20 glass pearls.

I love the colors and contrasts on this Amor Tiffany Style Tulip Hanging Lamp. The depiction of Tulips is perhaps looser than the other lamps I have reviewed here.
The striking Tiffany Light Shade features 224 hand crafted glass pieces and 40 cabochons. The shade is constructed using the traditional copper foil method.
Bold cherry red tulips adorn the rim of the lamp pointing downwards from deep green foliage. The tulips are placed upon an orange background, while as is typical of these Tulip lamps reminiscent of Spring the top half of the shade bathes the tulips in glorious golden hues.
A feature that it benefits from over that off the AM001HL08 above is that lamp comes with a chain link to the ceiling.
Beacon-ridge, Amazon Purchaser, enthuses that it is a “Perfect small lamp to add ambience for a corner space.”
